The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the party’s timetable of activities that will lead to the August 16 national bye election across the nation by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In the program of activities, the campaigns will commence on the 26th of July and the total cost for the purchase of form for the Senate and House of Representatives were also made known.
This was released in a statement released on Monday and signed by the National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Muhammad Argungun, OFR where he made all details available to the public and interested aspirants for the Senate Assembly, House of Representative and State Assembly.
According to the report, the total cost for the purchase of form for the Senate Assembly is N20M with N3M for the Expression of Interest Form and N17M for the Nomination Form.
The total cost for the purchase of form for the House of Representative is N10M with N1m for the Expression of Interest Form and N9M for the Nomination Form.
The female aspirants and Persons Living Disabilities (PWD) aspirants are to purchase only the Expression of Interest Form while the Nomination Form will be Free.
Aspirants that are within the youth demography between the age of 25 to 40 years are to purchase the Expression of Interest Form with a 50%
discount for the Nomination Form.
