A Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Darlington Nwokocha, on Monday, moved a motion for the suspension of the ministerial screening of a ministerial nominee from Delta State, Festus Keyamo. The motion was seconded by Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, from the Abia-South Senatorial District.
The motion was then put to a voice vote by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, but the senators were divided on the matter. The red chamber immediately erupted into a rowdy session.
Festus Keyamo we can remember, refused to honour the 9th National Assembly summons in the last administration
