It was a celebration galore as different dignitaries from all works of life on Monday paid accolades to the legal luminary and founder of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola SAN over his immense contribution to the legal profession as he celebrates 60 years call to the bar.
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo was present to celebrates with the sage. Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji was in attendance, so was the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunlesi, who made a good rendition of the celebrant. The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Bishop Matthew Kukah was live at the diamond celebration and so was Lagos lawyer and human right activist, Femi Falana. Others are Former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon; Chief Emeka Anyaoku, former secretary general of the commonwealth nations; and Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.
