A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Federal Representative hopeful from Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon Oluwasegun Akinsanya Kure has congratulated all Muslim faithful on the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr, advising them to embrace the ethics and piousness of the Holy month of Ramadan in a bid to promote unity and peace in our various communities.
Hon Akinsanya made this statement in celebration of the end of Ramadan and beginning of the month of Shawwal, a celebration of Eid-El-Fitr which was confirmed after the moon was sighted.
“The end of Ramadan and beginning of Shawwal marks a significant annual celebration of Eid-El-Fitr which should also be a moment of deep reflection and total devotion to Allah’s messages of observing daily prayers and giving alms to the needy.
“I enjoin our Muslim brothers and sisters to embrace the ethics and piousness of Ramadan, as a prerequisite for peace and unity of our nation to further promote peaceful coexistence and economic prosperity for all citizens.
“I pray for the grace to witness more Eid-El-Fitr celebration in good health and divine protection for all in our communities, constituency and Oyo State.
