A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency, Engineer Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has joined all Muslim faithful in celebrating Eid Maulud, in honour of the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
Engr SAO made this statement in his official Eid Maulud greetings to all Muslims where he described the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) as a deep reflection of the deed and will of Allah. He reminded all citizens to be devoted to the five pillars of Islam while also expressing love and support to one another as evident in the life and manner of the Holy Prophet himself.
“I join all Muslim faithful in celebrating Eid Maulud, the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW). This is also a day for all Muslims to further express their level of devotion, peace and unity to the will of Allah.
“A time to show love, sympathy and support to everyone around us as the teachings and way of life of the Holy Prophet Mohammed (SAW) transcend both the religious and ethnic boundaries.
He advised all Muslims to be tolerant and accommodating of everyone around them as characterised by the life and principles of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).
He also enjoined all Muslim brothers and sisters to express more solidarity to one another during this tense economic rebuild the country is witnessing.
Engr SAO then used the opportunity to pray for all citizens that amid this economic situation we should all continue to be our brother’s keepers while we push for economic prosperity and nation building.
