Engr Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has sent a condolence message to Ayete Community and family of late Prof Muritala Aderemi Bidmus, whom he described as a leading light and exemplary character to many across Ayete and Nigeria at large.
Engr SAO in his message expressed his deepest shock on the death of the former Imam of the University of Lagos and the first Professor from Ayete in Ibarapaland of Oyo State who died on Monday after a brief illness.
“It comes with rude shock that we receive the sad news of the death of Professor Muritala Aderemi Bidmus, the first Professor from Ayete, Alumni of Markaz Agege and former Imam of the University of Lagos.”
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended families of Prof Muritala Bidmus who was a leading light in the educational sector and Islamic leader for both Ayete in Ibarapa and Lagos State.”
“Professor M. A. Bidmos was no doubt an inspiration and exemplary character to many of us at home and across Nigeria, his unwavering commitment to the growth and development of Ibarapaland can never go unnoticed. His tireless efforts at developing the educational system in Ibarapa have left an indelible mark in our region, and his legacies will continue to inspire us all to contribute more to Ayete communities and beyond.” Engr SAO added.
Engr SAO also prayed for the repose of Prof Bidmus’ soul whilst praying for the entire family to stay strong and bear the irreplaceable loss.
“As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary individual and erudite scholar par excellence, we take solace in the knowledge that his memory will live on through the countless lives he has touched.
“We also pray to God Almighty for the repose of his soul and to grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.” he concluded.
