A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from Ibarapa Central/North federal constituency and 2027 federal representative hopeful, Engr Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, Igangan community, Ibarapaland and the entire APC family over the death of our great leader and political icon, Pa Michael Ogungbenro, who reportedly died on Monday after a brief illness.
Engr Saheed Oladele in his condolence message expressed his rude shock on the death of Chief Michael Ogungbenro who was a leader of character and epitome of humility, his passion to party growth and commitment to building leaders and impacting positively on the lives of everyone made him a respectable leader and political icon of Igangan.
“It is with rude shock that I receive the death of our great party leader and political icon from Ibarapaland, Pa Michael Ogungbenro who recently passed away after a brief illness. He was a father figure to all aspirants and party candidates, with innate understanding and political influence across all members of the party and beyond.
“Pa Ogungbenro in his lifetime was a revered political figure, leader, mentor, an embodiment of character and epitome of humility. His passion and commitment to the growth of the All Progressive Congress across Ibarapaland and Oyo State in general is quite enviable and further proves his immense leadership skills which has seen him lead the APC to enviable achievements.
Engr SAO also prayed for the repose of Chief M. Ogungbenro soul, that the Almighty God forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in heaven whilst giving the entire family the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss of the great party leader.
