A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and philanthropist from Ibarapa in Oyo State, Engr Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has commiserated with the family and entire Muslim community of Iwoland in Osun State on the sudden death of the Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland, Alh Gbadebo Badru.
Engr SAO in his statement made available to newsmen described Alhaji Gbadebo Badru as a political leader and respected Muslim devout who until his death remained ever conscious, sympathetic to the plight of everyone around him and also in his ongoing political pursuit in Ibarapa Federal Constituency of Oyo State.
“The death of Alh. Gbadebo Badru, the Mayegun Musulumi of Iwoland came to me this morning as a rude shock. I can’t find words to describe Alh Badru’s kindness, generosity and utmost concern for his immediate friends and family. His philanthropist gesture towards the people of Iwo and beyond is exemplary and a model for others to emulate.” Engr remarked.

“I must say that Alhaji Badru was a rare gem, a patriotic leader and astute family man whose influence transcends beyond Osun State as his prominence and character are also visibly supreme in my political pursuit in Oyo State.” he continued.
‘Alh Badru political searchlight beamed on my political sojourn and he impacted positively through my path. His deep influence in our family and Iwo land at large can also never go unnoticed as he ever remains a great Uncle to me, leader and career pathfinder for many of us who are his close confidant.
“I pray for the repose of his soul and for the Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaous” Engr SAO concluded.
