The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) successfully commissioned a 75MVA 132/32KV power transformer at its Onitsha Transmission Substation on December 12, 2024.
The new transformer has added 60MW to the wheeling capacity of the substation, making available more power to the Enugu DisCo offtake for its customers.
This is part of the rehabilitation projects of TCN in collaboration with the World Bank.
