The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON, FCIArb (UK), has been conferred with the Highest Honorary Fellowship Award of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to national development and transformative impact on the aviation industry.
The prestigious honor was bestowed upon him by the institution’s Rector, Dr. M.A. Akinde, during the 45th Founder’s Day Anniversary and 22nd Convocation Ceremony, held today, February 19, 2025, in Ilaro, Ogun State.
Beyond his remarkable achievements in aviation, the award celebrates the Minister’s strong affiliation with the institution and the wider Ilaro community. It is noteworthy that the Minister is maternally from Ilaro and his father and grandfather spent considerable time of their lives in Ilaro.In his acceptance speech, Mr. Keyamo highlighted his commitment to advancing education, infrastructure, and economic growth.
