FG Signs CTC Practice Direction, Aims to Restore Investors Confidence, Reduce Cost of Airline Operations

Nigeria on Thursday made a monumental progress by becoming one of the few nations to issue new Federal High Court Practice Directions to enhance compliance with the Cape Town Convention, ensuring smooth implementation of international aviation standards.

Presided over by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima at PEBEC, this milestone is part of the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo’s, 5-Point Agenda to support the growth of local airlines.

By removing legal barriers, these new directions will boost investor confidence, lower aircraft acquisition costs, and open new opportunities for Nigerian air operators.

“President Bola Tinubu keen on promoting Nigeria’s airline industry” the Vice President stated.

With this move, Nigeria’s aviation sector is set for exponential growth, more jobs, and a stronger global presence. Thank you to all stakeholders who made this happen, from Mr. President to the Attorney-General, and everyone involved.

A new era begins for Nigeria’s aviation industry
