Wife of the former Governor of Oyo State, Dr. (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, on his emergence and coronation as Soun of Ogbomoso.
Speaking at the Weekend, Mrs Ajimobi described the installation of Oba Laoye as the beginning of a new chapter in the chequered history of Ogbomosoland.
The former Governor’s wife prayed for the continued peace and prosperity of Ogbomosoland under the new monarch.
“Under Oba Laoye, Ogbomosoland will experience prosperity, birds will chip normally, rat with squeak as they are wont and the people will speak normally”, she prayed.
The former Governor’s wife said the varied experiences of Oba Laoye in business and his godly disposition are some of the experiences the monarch is bringing to the throne which would greatly assist in the continued prosperity of Ogbomosoland. She prayed for long life for Oba Laoye.
“May the Almighty God grant you the courage, wisdom, love and the compassion needed to ensure the socio-economic prosperity of Ogbomosoland.
“May you have a blessed, glorious and peaceful reign that will be beneficial to the people of Ogbomosoland, Oyo State and Nigeria.”
