The Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has congratulated Muslims all over Nigeria and Oyo State in particular as they usher in the new Islamic Year.

Prof. Akande in a statement made available to our correspondent in Ibadan expressed gratitude to Allah for another Islamic year Calendar and charged Muslims to be continuous prayer for the country at large and Oyo State in particular.
“I expressed my gratitude to Almighty Allah and extend congratulatory messages to all Muslims in Oyo State and Nigeria”.
We thank Allah for giving us mercy to witness another Islamic year Calendar .
