A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Federal Representative hopeful from Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon Oluwasegun Akinsanya (Kure) has felicitated with the Christian community on the completion of the 40 days Lent and celebration of Easter.
Hon Akinsanya while speaking described the Easter season as a celebration of love, sacrifice and hope of salvation. He charged fellow Christians to be preachers of love and role models in our various communities.
“I felicitate with all Christians in our various communities on the successful completion of the 40 day Lent of devoted prayer and fasting as well as the celebration of Easter, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
“This feeling of joy of triumph and salvation comes with huge responsibilities as believers and we must continue to spread the gospel that Easter symobilises victory over sin and death.
“Easter also teaches celebration of love and sacrifice, that we must be exemplary characters with moral and fear of God in our various communities.
Hon Oluwasegun Akinsanya also reminded Christians that practicing the good messages of Easter helps to build a peaceful, loving and crimeless community and constituency.
“I urge all Christians in our communities and constituencies to imbibe the good messages of Easter that helps to foster a peaceful, loving and crimeless society for all residents.
