Kaduna: Gov Sani Begins Second Round Distribution of N11.4 Billion Relief Packages

BREAKING: Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has formally commenced the distribution of a second round of relief packages valued at N11.4 billion.

The recipients of this distribution include individuals facing financial hardship, small and medium enterprises, retirees, farmers, and government workers eligible for death benefits.

Details of the palliative:

  • Released N3.3 billion for the payment of pension and gratuities, as well as death benefits to families of deceased civil servants.
  • Started distributing 128 trucks of rice and maize worth N3.4 billion to 200,000 households, approximately 1,000,000 persons.
  • Distributed fertilizer and other farm inputs and implements to 5,091 farmers.
  • Released grants to 7,500 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) ranging from N100,000 to N500,000, up to N1,000,000, depending on the enterprise’s size.
  • Started providing direct cash transfers to 9,800 poor and vulnerable households, including over 1,000 persons with disabilities. Beneficiaries receiving N50,000 each
  • Earmarked N4.2 billion for distribution of cash, grants, fertilizer, farm inputs, and implements to various vulnerable groups and enterprises.

CIVIL SERVANTS REVOLVING LOAN

Civil servants have also started benefitting from the N500 Million Revolving Loan Scheme.
