About five people have been reported dead in Saki as the dreaded Lassa Fever Outbreak has reportedly struck again killing a top CEO and three apprentices.
This was confirmed through an anonymous witness who did not make his identity known. He confirmed the virus outbreak and the loss of lives that has risen to five as at the time of report.
According to our source, four people were confirmed dead at Almusharaf Hospital and the medical experts in Saki, of Oyo State are presently working with the Disease Surveillance and Notification Officer (DSNO) to contain the situation.
This latest development has facilitated the surveillance officers and medical experts to spread the precautionary advices to the residence and people of Saki to wash their hands frequently, avoid contact with infected persons, keeping the environment clean and report symptoms promptly to the necessary authorities.
