The National Vice-President, Southwest of the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering (NATE), Engr. Tokede Oluremi Sunday (Fnate, Mnse, Fniset, Mnice, Coren) has expressed his deep sympathy with the victims of Ibadan explosion which happened at Dejo Oyelese Close in Bodija, Ibadan.
Engr. Tokede commiserate with the people of Ibadan and particularly the family of the affected people who may have lost their loved ones, sustained severe injury or indirectly affected from the fatal incident.
“I’m using this medium to commiserate with the people and residents of Bodija and environs who may have sustained one form of injury or fatally affected from the terrible explosion which happened on Tuesday evening.” Engr. Tokede stated.
“My thoughts and prayers are with all Ibadan people. This is indeed trying times for us all, it is also the best time to be resolute and united to see through this moment in good faith and health condition.
Engr. Tokede also sympathized with the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the sad incident at Old Bodija Estate, he appreciated the governor’s swift response to the scene and the regular update on how government is addressing the explosion impact. He also stated the importance of that prompt attention by the governor which has gone a long way to control the spread of fake news and civil unrest in the state.
“I also sympathize with the state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on this sad incident. His swift response to the incident scene and prompt update cannot go unnoticed as it has gone a long way to calm the situation against fake news and civil unrest in the state.” Engr. Tokede said.
“May the Lord Almighty shine his guidance and protection upon us in Ibadan and Oyo State. I also pray against all forms of tribulations and insecurities that may befall us a state and nation.” he concluded
