The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has presented the staff of office to the Olofin of Ado-Odo, Oba Olusola Lamidi-Osolo, on Saturday, at the Methodist School in the Ado Odo area of the state.
This came after a month of participating in Obaship rituals in ascension to the ancient throne of the Awori Kingdom.
The governor presented the staff of office through the Ogun State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Ganiyu Hamzat.
This ceremony legitimised the recognition of the 35-year-old monarch in the state.
