Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Egbeda Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Hon Akinsanya Oluwasegun has described the death of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Olalekan Mohood Balogun, Alli Okunmade II as a great loss to the entire Ibadan and Oyo State.
Hon Akinsanya expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Olubadan, the Ali-Iwo Compound and the entire people of Ibadanland on the demise of the late monarch.
Hon Akinsanya described the late Olubadan as a reverred Royal father who was a father figure, mentor and pathfinder for many young businessmen and stakeholders in Ibadan and Oyo State.
“I express my heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Monarch, the extended Ali-Iwo family compound and the entire people of Ibadanland on the demise of our highly reverred Royal father, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Olalekan Mohood Balogun (Okunmade II).
“The late Olubadan was a leading light and a pathfinder for many stakeholders in the state, with a view to bringing positive growth and development to the people of Ibadan and Ibadanland.
“Oba Balogun was a mentor and an influential figure in the public space even before assuming the mantle of his forefathers as Olubadan of Ibadanland. His influence spreads through the different spheres of politics, business world and social spaces where he has written indelible marks across these different provinces.
“May the Almighty Allah grant our reverred Olubadan eternal rest in Aljana Firdaous
