Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao has described the death of incumbent chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state, Barrister Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu as devastating. In a statement released by his media office, Hon. Alao described the late APC chairman as a man given to duty and dedicated to service.
“The news of the death of our chairman came to me as a devastating blow. He was a man given to service and always served diligently. As a fellow member in the state executive council during the administration of late former two term governor of Oyo state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Barrister Omodewu was a voice of reason and a senior colleague who was always willing to offer a hand of help and advice. As our state party chairman, he showed dedication to duty and resilience in building a strong and united party.
His death is a huge blow and creates a huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill. At this trying time, I pray his soul finds peaceful rest and may Almighty Allah comfort his family, friends and associates.”
