Armed vigilantes have apprehended a tower vandal in Osun State while his two accomplices escaped and are presently being trailed by the police.
This update was posted on the official X account of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Tuesday. According to the story, this incident took place on Monday and the apprehended vandal has since been handed over to the police for further investigation.

“One tower vandal has been apprehended last night, August 26, 2024, by armed vigilante in Osun State, while two escaped and are currently being trailed by the police.
“Recall that on the 13th of August 2024, one of TCN’s towers at the Ikeji-Ile area of Osun State was vandalised and tower members carted away. While one of the culprits was caught as they returned to continue their attack on the tower yesterday night, two are at large.
