Some officials of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) was in the early hours of Wednesday at the premises of some students hostels of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to make arrests.
It was reported that over 60 students were forcefully arrested and taken to unknown location at the time of filing this report.
The attacks were carried out in the middle of the night from the hours of 1:30am to 4am. Hostels in Oduduwa University were also arrested while also forcefully taking their phones and vehicles.
The students were made to sleep on the floor, beaten, dehumanized and some even injured even when none of them was resisting arrest.
