The inside part of the famous Amphitheater at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State collapsed on Thursday morning during an heavy rainfall which left about four students injured according to reports.
The rainfall came with whirlwind which saw the inside part of the amphitheater gave into the pressure and fell on students during lecture. According to report reaching us, four students were left injured and they have been rushed to the hospital as at 8:45 in the morning.
A student simply named David who is a student of the Science and Technology Education department was hit by the falling roof during the heavy downpour.
The three other students affected were also left with severe injury during the SER 001 class at the Amphitheater.
