Chieftain of the All Progressives’ Congress in Oyo State, Barr Akeem Agbaje has congratulated Hon. Shittu Ibrahim, the All Progressives’ Congress’ candidate on his victory in the Saki West State Constituency re-run election.
“I wish to congratulate Hon. Shittu Ibrahim on his victory in the re-run election into the Oyo State House of Assembly. Indeed, his victory is a welcoming one. It not only increases our party’s representation in the House, it is also a testament that our great party enjoys huge popularity and acceptance at the grassroots. I want to urge the newly elected lawmaker to be a good ambassador of the party at the House and also work for the progress and development of the good people of Saki West and people of Oyo State in general.”
Barrister Agbaje opined that the victory was a sign of better things to come for the party in the state.
“I must commend Hon. Shittu Ibrahim for his doggedness in securing victory even in the face of challenging odds. I also extend commendation to the leadership of our great party, the APC for successfully navigating this off-season election even in the face of daunting challenges. I must say this victory is a sign of better things in the offing. We must come together, foster unity and build a formidable party. This off-season electoral victory shows we are still a formidable force in the state and with unity and closed ranks, our party has all it takes to move from opposition to ruling party come 2027.”
