Oyo: Alayande Varsity Confirms Receipt of NELFUND Loan for 915 Students from FG

Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo State has confirmed the receipt of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) from the Federal Government in their support for Students Education Loan.

The statement was released on Saturday through the University Media and Publicity Relations Officer, Mr Wale Adeoye where he confirmed that the loan fund for 915 students has been received by the institution.

The report from the University also affirmed that the loan beneficiaries will be invited to a meeting by the university for appropriate documentation and refund for students who have already made payments.

“This is to inform the university community that the university is in receipt of the loan funds for 915 (nine hundred and fifteen) students of our university.

“Our university is grateful to NELFUND for this support to our students. The university also congratulates these 915 students.

“The loan beneficiaries will be invited to a meeting by the university next week for appropriate documentation and refund the students who already paid the school fees for 2023/2024 session. Students have the alternative of receiving their money back or use it to pay for the 2024/2025 session school fees.

“It is hoped that our students will also apply for 2024/2025 loan when NELFUND opens its platform for the session.

“Meanwhile, all students are implored to pay their school fees for the 2024/2025 session as soon as possible. Only students who have paid school fees will be allowed into the lecture and examination hall.”
