Oyo: CCII Present 2025 Festival Report, As Committee Honours Chief Ajeniyi Ajewole as Grand Custodian of Ibadan Culture Award

The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has presented the 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival report to the entire members and subcommittee groups who were all honored with certificates for their exemplary services. The President General of the CCII, Chief Ajeniyi Suleiman Ajewole was also decorated with the Grand Custodian of Ibadan Culture award.

The Chairman of the 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival Planning Committee, Chief Abiola Alli along with his committee members, on Thursday, took the meeting by surprise when he decorated the President General, Chief Ajeniyi Suleiman Ajewole with the Grand Custodian of Ibadan Culture award in recognition of his immeasurable contribution to the growth and development of Ibadan Culture.

The 2025 Ibadan Cultural Festival Chairman, Chief Abiola Alli also presented the Ibadan Cultural Festival report highlighting the total return made for the entire Ibadan week celebration which according to the President-General, Chief Ajewole, remains the highest amount earned in the history of the Ibadan cultural week festival celebrations.

Thereafter, the entire members of the 2025 Ibadan Cultural Week Festival Planning Committee were all presented with certificates of exemplary service in appreciation of their significant support and outstanding contributions towards the unprecedented success of the 2025 Ibadan cultural festival program.

In attendance were the entire executive members of the CCII, members of the 2025 Ibadan cultural festival planning committee members and also former Ibadan Cultural Festival Chairman, Bishop David Moradeyo who is now the Chairman, Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing).
