Oyo: Gov Makinde Presents Staff, Certificate of Office to New Alaafin, Oba Akeem Abimbola Owoade

In a historic ceremony held at the Oyo State Government secretariat, Ibadan, Governor Seyi Makinde formally presented the Staff and certificate of appointment to Prince Akeem Abimbola Owoade, marking his ascension as the Alaafin of Oyo.

Oba Owoade succeeds the late Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, who reigned for five decades.
