All Progressives’ Congress chieftain in Oyo State, Barr Akeem Agbaje has congratulated Nigerians on welcoming the new year. In his New Year message, he felicitated with them on the turn of the New Year and also urged them to approach the New Year with renewed vigor and belief while praying for the country and the leaders.
“I must congratulate everyone on welcoming the New Year. It is indeed heartwarming. As we welcome the new year, we must approach it with belief and utmost confidence in God. As a people, it is time for us to embrace national rebirth. We need to rejig our attitude to our country. We should embrace unity and peaceful co-existence because development only thrives in the atmosphere of peace.
We also need to support the government at all levels to deliver dividends of democracy. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has shown his commitment to revamp the country’s economy through his audacious and well thought out policies. I am confident that having laid down the foundation for a revamped economy in the outgone year, I believe in this New Year, the country will reap its’ dividends and the burden on the people will be lessened.
With the student loan policy, new minimum wage and the refineries kicking in, there is every reason to be positive about the renewed hope agenda.“
