The Oyo State Directorate of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting national unity, civic responsibility, and educational empowerment.
Speaking on the “Pendulum” program with Mr Ayodeji Ajisope on Solution 93.9 FM, the Oyo State Director of NOA, Dr. Olukemi Afolayan, called on Nigerians to reflect on their contributions to national development and demonstrate core values of discipline, accountability, and active participation.

Dr. Afolayan highlighted the agency’s revitalized efforts under its ongoing organizational reforms, citing initiatives such as the Village Care Project and Anti-Drug Abuse Campaigns.
She emphasized the importance of civic education, particularly for youth, and appealed for broader support from state governments, private sector partners, and civil society groups.
The Oyo NOA boss also commended the Federal Government’s NELFUND Loan Initiative, designed to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education. Dr. Afolayan explained that the loan provides comprehensive financial assistance, covering tuition fees and offering stipends for living expenses. She encouraged eligible students to apply and assured that the NOA is working with universities and relevant authorities to address disbursement concerns.
“NOA remains committed to driving civic engagement, fostering unity, and providing essential support for the nation’s youth as they pursue education and contribute to the country’s future.” Dr Afolayan added.
