Among thunderous ovations and resounding cheers, the Executive Director Corporate Service of Rural Electrification Agency (REA) in person of Hon Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega (ARA) was presented with an award of honour in recognition of his selfless service, contributions to the development of the future generations, with his inspiring/exemplary qualities and commitment to the restoration of living standards across different communities of Oluyole Local Government.
The event was organised by the members of Onila Community as part of the anniversary put together to foster unity and cooperation.
The Director was ably represented by Hon Akintayo Ibukunmi (Bukem) who received the award on his behalf.
While receiving the award, Hon Akintayo Bukem expressed his profound happiness in receiving the award on behalf of Hon Ayoade Adegboyega, he also explained that his boss will not relent on his efforts to continue to look for how his office can impact positively on Onila community and residence.
“I am happy to be here and to represent my boss, Hon Ayoade Rasheed Adegboyega (ARA).
He continued “I’m here on behalf of my boss to receive this honourary award.
In his goodwill message from Hon Ayoade ARA, he said “We will look for how we can make Onila Community a better place of living interms of what we can do with respect to my office.
The Chairman of the Community Association, Alhaji Amidu in his address described the awardee as a man whose humanity and selfless contribution to the community is second to none, that is why we are presenting him this glorious award.
Many dignitaries who attended the occasion include Oluyole Local Government Chairman, Vice Chairman, Supervisory Councillor and the Leader of the House including some notable leaders from Oluyole Federal Constituency and neighbouring communities also attended the event at the open field in the community where the anniversary took place at Egbeda Atuba Road, Onila, Oluyole Local Government, Ibadan Oyo State .
