Saki community in Oyo state is set to begin enjoying 22 hours of electricity as De-Janees Concept sealed a deal with Hexing Electrical Company for construction and installation of a 10MW solar hybrid power plant in the community.
Speaking at the official signing ceremony held in Lagos on Friday, Chief Executive Officer, De-Janees Concept Limited, Engr. Isaiah Fatokun, the groundbreaking partnership with Hexing Electrical Company Limited would harness sustainable energy to power over 4,000 homes through the Sango feeder in Saki with an initial 2MW solar power solution in the first phase.

Fatokun noted that the initiative showcases the transformative power of strategic partnership, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future.
Fatokun who was optimistic about the project explained that upon completion of the power project by December this year, the Saki community would enjoy 22 hours of electricity supply and be placed on band A.

“We have signed a number of agreements with Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company and it has given the franchise to generate and distribute the power to the community. For many years, this community has been in darkness. This project will help drive economic growth and bring life to social activities in the community.
