Oyo: The Royal Group, Ibadan Inducts Nine New Members, Calls for Improved Health Care System in Nigeria

The Royal Group also known as ‘Egbe Omo Oba Alade Ile Ibadan’ an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) on Saturday held her induction ceremony to celebrate new members who recently joined the club.

It was a thrilling and glamourous event that had profile guests and personalities in attendance, the CCII – PG, Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole was unavoidably absent, he was however ably represented. The guest speaker was Balogun Gaphar Babatunde Ojetola – A Clinical Researcher and Hospital Manager who is also the Chairman, Ibadan Week Planning Committee. He held the guests and members spell bound with his intriguing revelations about the health sector and living healthy at minimal cost during his lecture on the theme: The Social Responsibility of a Good Healthcare System and Workers In the Society.

The President of the Club, Prince Kamikun Akewula was most elated with the grand occasion and he led the proceedings with the most profound opening speech which set the ball rolling for a wonderful and eventful afternoon for the guests and inductees.

The Immediate Past President, Prince Musa Busari – Akere and Prince Wale Agbaje coordinated the inductions processes with nine new members getting inducted as full fletched members of The Royal Group. Also Present on the high table were Prince Tiamiyu Wasiu, Prince Bamiji Makinde and Prince Caleb Akande (Treasurer, CCII)

The new members include: Prince Saheed Adeyemo (Sanjay), Prince (Hon.) Baruwa Abiodun, Prince Abiala Abiodun, Prince Olawale Lawal, Prince Muraina Abiodun, Prince Yunus Muhammed, Prince (Dr.) Salmon Abeeb, Prince Hamzat Ademola and Prince Salaudeen Aminu.

The ceremony was held at the conference center of the Ibadan House in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan with Prince Shehu Musa Shittu as the compere for the programme.
