Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the passing of former Alliance for Democracy (AD) Chairman and Secretary to the government of Oyo State, Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleosho, who died in the early hours of Tuesday.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Adelabu eulogized Pa Koleosho as a true patriot and father figure whose immense influence extended far beyond the political sphere. He highlighted Pa Koleosho’s remarkable contributions to education and infrastructure development in Oyo State, which have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.
Chief Adelabu described Pa Koleosho as a father to all political classes, whose legacy in public service and community outreach is unparalleled, particularly in the Oke Ogun zone of Oyo State. He fondly remembered Pa Koleosho’s instrumental role in the creation of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Saki Satellite Campus, now known as Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, among his numerous achievements.
The Minister offered his heartfelt condolences to the family, praying for the repose of Pa Koleosho’s soul and for God to grant him eternal life in heaven. He also prayed for the family to have the fortitude and strength to bear the irreparable loss, assuring them that Pa Koleosho’s influence and legacy will never be forgotten.
