Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu attended the African Energy Forum (AEF) from June 25 – 28, in Barcelona, Spain.
During the event, he shared his vision on the electricity market in Nigeria.
He spoke extensively on:
– Development of the National Integrated Energy Policy and the Strategic Implementation Plan.
– Reforms in the Electricity Market with the devolution of regulatory responsibilities to States.
– De-risking the sector to catalyze private sector investment, by ensuring a service reflective tariff that allows for full cost recovery for a portion of Electricity Consumers.
