Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, has commiserated with the family of the late member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. AbdulGaniy Ayesoro and granted his undergraduate daughter, Aishat Abdulganiy Ayesoro, a scholarship for her undergraduate studies.
Prof Akande who was accompanied by a former Chairman of Irepo Local Government and Association of Local Government Council Chairmen in Oyo State, Hon Yekini Popoola and former Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government of Oyo State, Hon Olarinre Adisa Adeniji extolled the virtues of Hon Ayesoro which he identified as humility, hardwork and integrity.
He noted that Hon. Ayesoro was an exemplary politician who promoted peace, equity and fairness.”He was a firm believer and devout muslim.”, he noted.
Professor Akande prayed for the young family Hon Ayesoro left behind and admonished his children to remain committed to the virtues of hardwork, honesty and service to God to which their father was committed in his lifetime.
He announced a scholarship for the daughter of the deceased, Miss Aishat Ayetoro,who is an undergraduate in one of the nation’s universities.
