Oyo North Senatorial Aspirant and Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has joined well wishers around the country to congratulate Chief Saka Balogun on his appointment as Balogun of Ogbomosoland, describing him as a symbol of integrity, love and community service.
In a statement released by his media office, Prof Akande noted that ‘Baba Saka Balogun is eminently qualified for the exalted office of Balogun of Ogbomosho given his long history of service to the good people of Ogbomosho land and Oyo State and Nigeria at large. His appointment is not a coincidence but more of a validation of his life of communal engagement and service to mankind.
Professor Akande noted that Chief Saka Balogun has distinguished himself as a man of integrity and a leader committed to community development in his long years in politics and public service.
He prayed to God to give Chief Balogun more wisdom, more energy, and a long life to meritously deliver on his new assignment as Balogun of Ogbomosholand.
