Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Prof Adeolu Akande, has congratulated Dr Joseph Tegbe on his appointment as the Chairman of the Tax Implementation Committee by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement released in Abuja, Prof Akande noted that Tegbe’s appointment is one of a round peg in a round hole, stating that Tegbe had proven himself to be a competent and efficient administrator in his chosen areas of accounting and taxation.
“You have over the years and across many tasks proven to be worthy of the confidence reposed in you by President Tinubu.
Prof Akande prayed for God’s guidance for Dr Tegbe as he delivers on this onerous task that will no doubt re-define the financial narrative of Nigeria.
