Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande, and Senatorial aspirant in Oyo North Senatorial District of Oyo State has congratulated former Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Hon Mulikat Adeola on her 65th birthday.
In a statement by his Media Office in Ibadan on Tuesday, Professor Akande noted that Hon Mulikat Akande, who once represented Ogbomosho North, Ogbomosho South and Orire Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 2007 and 2015, is one woman politician who has shown that women than do well, if not better, than men in politics and public office.
‘Your adventure in politics and public office is a confirmation that what a man can do, a woman can do better’, the statement noted. Professor Akande stated that Hon Mulikat Akande discharged her legislative duties diligently and impacted positively on the social and economic conditions of her constituents.
