A Federal Representative hopeful from Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency, Engr Saheed Adeyemi Oladele (SAO) has shared his warm congratulatory message to all Muslims in his constituency and indeed Oyo State on the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan.
Engr SAO, as fondly called by his teeming supporter, made this statement on Friday evening after it was confirmed that the moon had been sighted which marked the beginning of Ramadan. He described Ramadan as a period of fasting and prayers which brings us closer to Allah.
“I heartily rejoice with all Muslims faithful in Oyo State and Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency in this special and holy month of Ramadan that has once again met us in good faith.
“In this sacred month of fasting and prayers, it is essential that we remind each other on the uniqueness and significance therein of being devout Muslim and embrace the art of charity and altruism.” Engr SAO added.
“As residents of Ibarapaland and Oyo State at large, it is also imperative that we uphold the values of giving and sharing, humility and kindness to our fellow citizens.”
“These ethical values which are common practices during the holy month of Ramadan are what leads to unity and prosperity of a group, community and nation.” he concluded.
