Super Falcons Defeat Australia To Top Group in Women World Cup

The Nigerian Super Falcons defeated the Matildas of Australia, 3-2 to go top in their group. The Super Falcon won the game in a five-goal thriller in their second game of the 2023 Women’s World Cup (WWC).

The Nigerian girls stunned the co-host at the Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Australia, with goals from goals from Uchenna Kanu, Osinachi Ohale and Asisat Oshoala.
