The Royal Group (TRG) registered as Egbe Omo Oba Alade Ile Ibadan, an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), extends its warm congratulations to Oba Sen. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his inauguration on Thursday, 15th January 2026 as the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.
The inauguration was performed by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, in line with the rotational chairmanship arrangement, for a tenure of two years.
This well-deserved appointment is a testament to His Imperial Majesty’s wealth of experience in public service and private life, as well as his longstanding commitment to leadership, unity, and service to humanity. The Royal Group expresses strong confidence in Kabiyesi’s capacity to provide the exemplary leadership required at this critical time to foster coordination, harmony, and unity among traditional rulers across the state.
The Ibadan sociocultural group further reiterates its belief that His Royal Majesty’s tenure will significantly contribute to the preservation of Ibadanland’s rich cultural heritage, strengthening of traditional institutions, and promotion of mutual respect for the autonomy and dignity of all royal stools.
