As part of their preparation ahead of the 21st anniversary celebration coming up in December, The Royal Group Ibadan members, an affiliate of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) paid a courtesy visit to the Oyo State ALGON Chairman and Executive Chairman of Egbeda LG, Hon Sikiru Oyedele Sanda in recognition of his outstanding achievements and huge contributions to the growth and development of Egbeda and Ibadanland.
The visitation took place on Tuesday at Hon Sanda’s office in Egbeda where The Royal Group members led by the Club President, Prince Kamikun Akewula along with other members informed the Chairman of the Club’s recognition of his outstanding successes and achievements across Egbeda LG.
According to the 21st anniversary committee Chairman, Prince (Engr) Musa Busari-Akere, this recognition of the outstanding achievements of Hon Sikiru Sanda was achieved through a public survey and mini research work put up by the Ibadan Social Club and it goes to unwrap his numerous achievements and developmental projects towards an improved Egbeda and Ibadanland.

Hon Sikiru Sanda expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the members of The Royal Group (TRG) for the visitation and especially the recognition of his efforts and contribution to the growth and development of Ibadanland.
“We are most delighted that our efforts and contributions to Egbeda local government are continually being recognised and appreciated. We have impacted positively on the people, built projects in every ward of Egbeda and we are not stopping anytime soon. We will continue to do more.” Hon Sanda stated.
Hon Sanda also waxed lyrical about his most recent contribution to educational development across Egbeda “Even more recently on our various infrastructural projects and educational support scheme we donated notebooks and other materials to various schools across Egbeda with health support and building renovations at Olukunle Healthcare Center as well as community bridge and bore hole.” Egbeda LG Boss added.
Hon Sikiru Sanda also highlighted some of their contribution and coordination of funds towards the construction of the Olubadan Palace – an infrastructural edifice that further promotes the rich history and cultural heritage of Ibadanland.
Earlier in his address, the President of the Social club, Prince Kamikun Akewula highlighted some of the numerous philanthropic support of Hon Sanda towards different groups right since his time as the state assembly member representing Egbeda LG. He also prayed for more ground breaking feats for the chairman and that may his ambitions and aspirations continue to soar and meet success towards greater heights in life.
