In observance of International Workers’ Day, Honourable Ayoade Rasheed Adeyogega (ARA), the Executive Director of the Rural and Electrification Agency (REA) and a prominent political leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Oluyole Federal Constituency, has lauded Nigerian workers for their vital role in the nation’s development.
In a statement issued to mark the occasion, Hon. Ayoade described workers as “the life of the nation,” emphasizing their productivity, resilience, hard work, dedication, and unwavering contributions toward national progress. He praised their efforts for driving Nigeria’s growth and fostering socio-economic development.

The politician expressed his admiration, stating, “You are the life, strength, and heartbeat of the nation. From the least to the highest among you, your sacrifices are the major foundation of our economy and existence. Without you, there would be no Nigeria. Your productivity is the engine that keeps our dear nation moving forward.”
He further commended the resilience and dedication of Nigerian workers, noting, “Your hard work and commitment are truly commendable. Every effort you make daily is instrumental in our nation’s development and prosperity.”
Hon. Ayoade also acknowledged the recent increase in the minimum wage from N30,000 to N70,000, implemented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He praised the president for prioritizing workers’ welfare, highlighting that the wage increment has positively impacted workers’ productivity and morale.
Concluding his address, Hon. Ayoade called on government agencies to implement policies that further enhance workers’ welfare, asserting that such initiatives would propel Nigeria to greater heights.
