Hon. Olufemi Adebayo, an All Progressives Congress (APC) party chieftain in Ona Ara local government has congratulated the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Engr Dotun Sanusi on his elevation as Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Dr. Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun Alli Okunmade II, the Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The event which took place yesterday 6th October, 2023 at the Olubadan’s Palace at Alarere area, Iwo road Ibadan had in attendance noble sons, daughters of the soil and crème de la crème in the society. It was indeed an uncommon show of love and highly historic for Ibadan compound heads to have queued behind Engr Dotun Sanusi to be elevated as Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland without ranchor.
In the congratulatory message on Friday, Hon. Olufemi Adebayo affirmed that the elevation of Engr Sanusi, a consummate businessman and philanthropist is a clear testament to his credibility, whose passion is based on bettering humanity.
‘The elevation of Engr Dotun Sanusi is deserving following his laudable antecedents and achievements. Without doubt, he is a bundle of blessings to Ibadanland and humanity in general.’ Hon. Adebayo stated.
‘We give glory to God for His mercy over Chief (Engr.) Dotun Sanusi who has been of tremendous service to Ibadanland. I am greatly convinced that this call to duty will again be blessings to Ibadan sons and daughters,’ Adebayo said while praying for the distinguished businessman that ‘Oye a tun sun siwaju si’.
