Nasarawa State University, Keffi, is engulfed in sorrow and disbelief following a tragic incident during a palliative distribution organized by the Nasarawa State government. The purported relief effort, aimed at aiding students amidst economic hardship, turned disastrous as chaos erupted, claiming the lives of two students and leaving several others injured.
According to initial reports, the distribution event descended into pandemonium, resulting in a stampede that proved fatal for two students. As the university community reels from the shock of the loss, urgent medical attention has been extended to those injured, with several rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Keffi, for treatment as the school clinic staffs was reported to be on strike.
