The Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has suspended the local government caretaker committees.
In a letter sent to the Heads of Local Government Administrations in the State and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Alonge Adewale. The HOLGAs in all LGAs/LCDAs were immediately directed to assume responsibility as the head of their respective local government area and LCDAs in acting
capacity pending the resolution of all Legal matters relating to this subject.
The Heads of local government and LCDAs were further instructed to retrieve without delay, all assets and properties of the LGAs/LCDAS with these former Caretaker Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen and other members and to safely keep them within their respective Local Government Areas and Local Council Development
Areas.
