A group of concerned activists in Oyo have come hard on the newly elected PDP Chairmanship candidate from Atiba Local Government in next year’s Oyo State LG elections, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji (Wabkem).
According to the group leader, they agreed that Hon. Wahab Adetunji Wabkem is a seasoned politician in Atiba LG but they however questioned the veracity of imposing Wabkem as the PDP candidate in Atiba. In their quest to find justice, they have raised a claim that Wabkem does not have a valid WAEC result to have even scaled through the Chairmanship screening process.
The group also lay claim to the support Wabkem is having to perpetrate the unlawful and evil deed with notable mentions of Sen. Monsura Sunmonu, Hon. Gbenga Oyekola, Seun Ashamu (Commissioner for Energy) and Wasiu Adeleke (State Secretary) as the Chief Masterminders.
In his WAEC result which is attached in this report. Wabkem allegedly had his WAEC exam in 1996 at Community Secondary School, Laguna in Oyo. His examination result however shows just two subjects with C4 in Yoruba Language and E8 in Physical Education only. He did not have results in any other subject during the examination as seen in the result attached to the statement.
The group further questioned the authenticity of the primary election which had eminently qualified personalities like Hon. Kalifa Olakojo (Incumbent Chairperson) and a host of other aspirants whom they all jostled for the LG chairmanship position like Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji; Hon. Olanrewaju Afeez; Hon. Tijani muideen Oyedele; Hon. Oguntona Seun Olunloyo; Hon. Olasunkanmi; Hon. Olakojo Kafilat Mojisola and Hon. Afeez Oseni before Wabkem was fraudulently imposed on all others.
