Oyo: Makinde Secures Additional Funding, Set to Complete Rasheed Ladoja Circular Road in Ibadan

Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde confirmed on his X (former Twitter) page that the state has secured additional funding from AfreximBank and Access Bank to continue and hasten up work on the Senator Rasheed Ladoja Circular Road in Ibadan.

The Governor confirmed this after his inspection of the East End Wing of the 110km Rasheed Ladoja Circular Road. He also assured on the quick and steady pace of work of construction Engineers on the site.

“Earlier today, we inspected the East End Wing of the 110 km Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road being constructed by our administration. We recently secured additional funding from AfreximBank and Access Bank to continue with the construction of this project.” Governor Makinde said.

The governor also shed light on the benefits of the new road as an alternative route to residence and travellers which he maintained, will help to reduce traffic within Ibadan. Subsequently, it will also help to open up more areas in Ibadan, hence lead to more development across Ibadan and Oyo State.

“When completed, the Circular Road will create an alternative route for both residents and travellers and reduce traffic congestion within Ibadan. The benefits of this project to Oyo State’s economy are enormous as it will open up more areas in Ibadan leading to further development.” Makinde concluded.
