Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, Prof. Adeolu Akande, has congratulated Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin, as he clocks 62.
Akande, who is a Senatorial Aspirant in Oyo North in the All Progressives Congress, APC, identified with the Ibadan senior chief, said Folarin has successfully established himself as a force to reckon with in the politics of Oyo State in particular and Nigeria in general.
Akande and the three-term lawmaker who represented Oyo Central Senatorial District for a record three terms has etched his name in the sands of time as a formidable politician and worthy representative.
In a congratulatory statement, Akande explained that “I’m not surprised about your trajectory in politics going by your political antecedent at the University of Ibadan where you also shone brilliantly as a footballer. So, watching your meteoric rise in politics evokes memory of our days at the University of Ibadan.
“As you reach 62, I wish you all the best that life can afford. You are cherished.
