Nigerian and Napoli star striker, Victor Osimhen is favored to win the African top prize award as the best player in the continent. The Confederation of African Nation (CAN) has announced the ceremony to be held on December 11 in Morocco.
The Nigerian attacker, Osimhen along with Egyptian and Liverpool striker, Mohamed Salah; Morocco and Sevilla goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou; and Algeria and Manchester City winger, Riyad Mahrez have been nominated as the four best finalist for the coveted award as African Footballer of the Year.
Victor Osimhen led Napoli to her first Serie A title in 32 years, Yassine Bounou won Europa League with Sevilla and Riyad Mahrez won both the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League title with Manchester City.
